Serenity Salon & Day Spa was established in 2002 by proprietor Darcy Deadman; fourth generation entrepreneur and life long "Madisonian". Darcy and her skillfully selected team have made the continual commitment to providing the most positive experience for their guests with the promise of excellence in service and customer satisfaction.

Perhaps the most important commitment Serenity Salon & Day Spa makes to its clients is our continued education. Due to the ever-changing health and beauty industry, the stylists at Serenity train intensely - but not exclusively - with two of the industry's most prestigious product lines in the world, Aveda and Graham Webb. This training takes our stylists to some of the most exciting and avant-garde cities in the U.S., such as New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and good ol' Milwaukee, WI where they study along with the leading stylists from all over the world.

The salon itself was designed with Feng Shui and Eastern influences. The five elements of Feng Shui create positive energy and promote profitability. Serenity's bamboo floors and maple doors represent the element of wood, increasing the growth and expansion of business. Slate and glass represent our earth, creating balance, peace, and stability. The salon's custom waterfall represents water; moving water brings money and people. Our stainless steel trusses and platinum light fixtures represent metal, an agent of communication and creativity. Finally, light, both natural and enhanced, provides energy and promotes activity.

The design of this comprehensive space includes architecture, colors, curved walls, furniture, glass block walls, and rice paper. The use of color is twofold, used to energize our employees and calm our customers. It is this energy that attracts Serenity's more fashion conscious clientele.
